Abstract
The air chamber characteristics of oscillating water column (OWC) type wave power generator are shown. Since an orifice is used in many cases as load of OWC instead of the air turbine from the ease of an experiment when estimating the air chamber characteristics by experiment, there are many examples of study for the OWC characteristics using the orifice load. However, when treating as a linear problem, investigation about a dumping coefficient is based and this paper shows the air chamber characteristics about a dumping coefficient. Moreover, although research of OWC characteristics about the compressibility effect of air is carried out by the past, the more detailed investigation is performed here in.
