Abstract
The propagation behavior of the crack-like defects due to time dependent fracture mechanics like fatigue was numerically simulated. Fatigue life of multiple cracks using the computer simulation procedure was compared with the experiment results. It was clarified that the error of the Runge-Kutta method was smaller than that of the step method and that multiple cracks coalesce condition as per the API code was certainly pertinent.
