Recently, regenerative medicine has made noticeable progress toward regenerating human body parts, by using patients' own tissues. In the case of artificial bones, the micro structure in which new bone can penetrate and regrow after transplant is required. In order to fabricate the micro structure suited for regenerative artificial bones, we have been developing the 3-D shape fabrication process by means of the lamination of titanium sheets. The porous titanium bone made by this method could act as scaffolds for the regeneration of new bone. In this paper we examine laser sintering conditions to increase the strength and accuracy of the porous titanium bone.
