Object of the study is to evaluate fatigue strength of the perforated plate at the elevated temperature of 550℃ by fatigue tests. The specimens made of SUS304 stainless steel have two holes placed an angle of 0°, 30° and 60°. The stress concentration factors of these specimens are estimated by the finite element analysis. Substituting this value in the SRL method, we have the inelastic strain amplitude, where in the SRL method, the reduction coefficient κ is taken as 1.4 or 1.6. Crack initiation cycle is determined from the pictures showing crack propagation process, which are measured with a CCD camera at a regular interval cycle. Crack initiation cycle is smaller than failure cycle. By using these inelastic strain amplitude and crack initiation cycle, the experimented results are shown to be predicted well by the present complicated structures.
