In this paper, an inelastic two-scale analysis method is implemented in finite element analysis (FEA) software to easily use this method and to efficiently analyze elastic-viscoplastic deformation of fiber-reinforced composites. For this, an inelastic two-scale analysis method based on a homogenization theory for nonlinear time-dependent composites is described. The method is then implemented in the commercial FEA software Abaqus through a user defined material subroutine. To verify the present method, two-scale elastic-viscoplastic analysis of a unidirectional carbon fiber-reinforced plastic subjected to a tensile load in the fiber longitudinal direction or transverse direction is conducted using the Abaqus with the user defined subroutine. In addition, the same analysis is performed using a homebuilt in-house two-scale analysis code. Analysis results obtained from the Abaqus completely agree with those of the in-house code both macroscopically and microscopically, showing validity of the developed method.
