In this study, CHP using the reaction of calcium chloride / ammonia (CaCl2/NH3) system was discussed experimentally for the purpose of effective use of waste heats at around 100°C. Calcium chloride was mixed with expanded graphite (EG) to increase its thermal conductivity, durability and formability. The reactivity of the ECL was measured by thermal gravimetric analysis. Mixing with EG increased the adsorption rate of CaCl2 when mixing ratio(α) was 1:1. However, as the amount of calcium chloride increases, the adsorption reaction rate slows down. Moreover the surface of ECL were observed by SEM and there are CaCl2 clusters in the pores of EG in ECL3 and ECL8
