Abstract
This paper presents an optimization method on maintenance of thermal power plant. The way to reduce maintenance costs of power plant is one of the most effective methods to reduce power generation costs. In the former method, we used to replace the facilities merely based on inspection results and remaining life assessment. In addition, we used to inspect each facility uniformly except for considering each plant's priority. The exclusion of these over-maintenances is a key issue to save the plant's lifecycle cost. Therefore, we show pioneering processes to optimize plant maintenance and to reduce the maintenance cost of thermal power plants by defining each "Plant's Duration" and "Plant's Priority", moreover, we show an "Estimation Method of Investment Plan" on the maintenance cost hereafter. Our proposing method can be applied to the various types of plants, such as other power plants except thermal power plant, production systems and so on.
