In wind farms, an upstream turbine causes the turbine wake which leads to a decrease in the power output and an unsteady loading to the downstream turbine due to the velocity deficit and the increased level of turbulence. Therefore, accurate prediction of the wake flow is important for evaluating a feasibility of large scale wind farms. In this research, we report results of analysis of seaward and landward wake data measured using three vertical profiling LiDARs. In addition, the effect of atmospheric stability on the wake is investigated using atmospheric reanalysis data. The results show that considering atmospheric stability for seaward wake is important especially when a wide range of atmospheric stability can be observed.
