Abstract
We propose the negative pressure type flexible optical head slider as an air-bearing slider by fluid lubrication, which is one of the factor technologies of near-field optical recording that is new signal regeneration technology beyond diffraction limit. We established the design method and evaluated the performance by simulation. To be concrete, ±50μm slider tracking performance for the outside displacement of the disk and adjustment capacity of lm curvature radius of a warp in a slider were ascertained.
