Abstract
Heat cycle test of zirconia-coated type 304 stainless steels were carried out. Surface strain was measured by using the laser speckle strain/displacement gauge (SSDG) during the heat cycle test. Fatigue processes were discussed with result of both surface strain measurement and microscopic observation in the longitudinal section of specimen after heat cycle test. Fatigue processes were able to be revealed by means of surface strain. No change in dimensions of delamination was found to be observed even if number of cycles in zirconia-coated stainless steel increased.
