AC potential technique was developed for the measurement of fatigue damage of micromaterials in specimens. Fatigue test system has an actuator to load small cyclic force and apparatus to control the stress, the stress ratio and the frequency. Test-materials were commercially pure aluminum and iron wires of 1.0mm diameter and they were electro-chemicaly polished to have minimum diameter from 0.2mm to 0.6mm. In both material, resistance change was measured by AC potential technique and fracture surface was observed with scanning electron microscope.
