Abstract
This paper describes a prediction of fan perform ances using CFD technique. It is important to make an accurate prediction that some typical vortices known by experiments must be calculated accurately. One of these vortices is tip vortex. A fluctuation of this vortex causes for an unstable performance. We can calculate it reasonably by a commercial CFD software using a suitable analysis models and conditions.
