Proposal for Diesel Combustion Model Applied to statistical methods

Abstract

This study proposes the modeling scheme of easily and precisely prediction of engine characteristics by combining the statistical methods with physical theories. In this report, the effect of DoE, such as D-optional design and LHS (Latin Hypercube Sampling), on the modeling accuracy is examined. Furthermore, it was investigated whether Two-zone model can reduce experimental points which need constructing this model.
