バックステップ流れの三次元構造に関する実験的研究

Velocity measurements have been done in order to grasp the flow reattachment locations over a 3D backward-facing step in a duct by PIV for various Reynolds numbers from 200 to 1000. The aspect ratio and the expansion ratio of the stepped duct were 16 and 2, respectively. The changing law of the time averaged reattachment points under different Renolds numbers was clarified. Further investigation was done for making clear the space variations of the reattachment points using the method of existence probability statistics. Reattachment locations under representative Reynolds numbers were compared with other researchers’ results to find the 3D characteristics.
