Elderly persons decrease lower-limb muscle strength as aging. It becomes difficult for elderly persons to stand up alone. For that reason, rehabilitation to improve the remaining muscle strength is more and more important in aging society. In the former paper, the standing up motion are measured and the trajectory in which the joint moment is reduced is derived. On the basis of this trajectory, sit-to-stand (STS) motion assistance device are produced. In this paper, the assistance device is developed and STS motion experiments are conducted using this device. The effects of the assistance force on STS motion are investigated.
