Abstract
Correlations between variance of motor excitation force, distribution of base structural property, and SPL of simple hard disk drive are investigated. In validation, indirectly identified force is used to clarify these correlations. And noise and vibration reduction by structural modification at motor component is proposed. In addition, correlations between assembly specification, excitation force, and SPL of motors are researched by using bracket motor model. Simulation model is also used to predict variance of vibration noise of bracket motor model.
