Abstract
Vibration uncertainty due to the uncertainty of parameter can be estimated by using Monte Carlo Simulation. This method enables to choose the most efficient parameter to reduce vibration uncertainty in analysis. Consequently, quality and cost can be designed at the early stage of designing. This paper focuses on the uncertainty of relay joint. At first, reduction of vibration uncertainty is attempted using simple model. And then, the effectiveness of this method is confirmed by application of actual model.
