Abstract
A new device for reduction system of seismic response is developed using friction bearing. This study investigates the influence that the change of center of gravity position due to the load affects the reduction of seismic response. In the best case, the seismic response at the top of computer rack decreases about 75% compared to the input wave. And, even in bad case, it was about 44% decrease. They indicate that this device do not depend on the load center of gravity position.
