Abstract
To clean inside of trenches and holes, it is necessary to infiltrate cleaning liquid into such structures. In this study, we observed the liquid infiltration into a closed end tube and hole by applying pressure under two conditions, i.e. quasi-statically with a pump and impacting liquid column or droplet train. As a result, it is found that the amount of dissolved air by applying pressure is small, and it has little effect on the liquid infiltration in sub-millimeter size of tubes. In addition, it is also found that the high liquid infiltration rate can be achieved by using a liquid droplet train impact.
