Abstract
The investigation of the mechanical property of the structure often uses the non-contact-type measurement using image processing. We have been developing the technique to measure the displacement and strain of structure by using the digital image correlation method. However, the measurement by using the image correlation is limited to the static displacement and strain. The image correlation can not be applied for the displacement measurement when the measurement subject moves fast. In this research, the technique of the image correlation which can trace the fast moving object is proposed.
