Abstract
In recent years, in vitro fertilization has successfully treated many infertile patients. However, pregnancy rate is still 20%〜40% and there is a need for a new fertility treatment that applies implantation stage, and new research of co-culture model of uterine tissues and embryos. To make co-culture model of uterine tissues and embryos, it is crucial that reconstructed uterine tissues have interaction with embryos. In this study, we focused on scaffold-free tissue technique. We developed a new method to reconstruct scaffold-free engineered uterine tissues by using a multilayer technique. Plate-like tissues we reconstruct keep the shape in 7 days culture, and further study is needed for reconstructing uterine tissues which are suitable for co-culture with embryos.
