Abstract
Abstract- This paper presents research on a new vibration suppression method based on micro step drive for HB stepping motors. This drive method cancels out the cogging torque without using any additional electronic devices and mechanical parts such as angler position sensors. This method is derived by considering the non-linear torque characteristics of the motor so as to maintain the vibration suppression performance at low motor current settings. Experiments for this method conducted to evaluate the rotor vibration are presented.
