Basic study on gear vibration measurement : Effect of misalignment

Abstract

Planetary gear system has the strong point at their compact size comparing with high load capability. But it is more complicated comparing with parallel shaft gear systems. In this study, we made a planetary gear apparatus that planetary pinion's vibration can be measured. And the effect of misalignment error on sidebands components around mesh frequency vibration component experimentally.
