The purpose of this research is making a valuation of relationship between the structural color appeared on titanium and the condition of laser irradiation. The pulsed Nd-YAG laser that wavelength is 355nm is irradiated to titanium alloy in scanning lines. Various structural colors are appeared by changing pulse energy, pulse interval time, pulse overlap rate, and scanning lines interval. These colors are caused by interference of reflected light between the surface of titanium alloy and thin film of compound that formed by laser irradiation. Therefore, the hue can be showed by thickness of thin film quantitatively. As a result of laser irradiation, thickness of compound is shown in the form of cube root of pulse energy and it is proportional to the pulse overlap rate and scanning lines interval. In addition, the roughness of surface before irradiate laser do not influence to the hue of structural color, and the composition of compound is similarly regardless of the hue. The relationship of the film thickness and pulse interval time can't be estimated.
