Abstract
A wheel separating from a heavy truck with dual rear wheels is social problem still now. The traffic safety environmental laboratory's report insists the cause of the accident is metal fatigue. But, it seems like that early failures occurred in one bolt causes the metal fatigue of other bolts. The hydrogen-assisted stress cracking (delayed fracture) might have occurred as early failure.
