This paper aims to report the process of the developments of Security Towns through interviews with local authorities and developers. <br>All 4 residential areas surveyed here have CCTVs pointing toward public areas and 2 of 4 areas have security gates limiting entry into the areas.<br>They were realized through developers negotiations with local authorities in advance of the construction and flexible understanding of the laws by local authorities.<br>It is suggested that they are necessary to make it a rule for developers planning to develop Security Towns to negotiate with local authorities and to make rules which enable residents of such towns to change or disuse security equipments afterwards.
