抄録

This paper introduces the current status and future prospects of gas turbine technology for power generation. Today, 1500C class steam cooled gas turbine has commercialized, and the thermal efficiency of latest combined cycle plant has exceeded the 60%(LHV). In Japan, national projects aimed at 1700C class gas-turbine have been carried out. Results of these projects and further study on future power generation system are also mentioned.
