In order to consider the efficient visual inspection method, this paper examines the difference in visual inspection methodologies affecting the defects detection. Specifically, variation factors in the designed experimental model that leads subjects to two patterns of head and eye movements. As a result, it is obtained that the method of only eye movement is effective for viewing wide range. Because the subjects can gaze at a point for long periods of time since the occurrence of the eye movement in which the displacement of corrective saccade and gaze point is less.
