We have tried to establish a quantitative evaluation method of the beverage fragrance for the aluminum bottle. It is difficult to change freely the form and shape of the existing aluminum bottle and to do experiment for it. Therefore, we have studied the flow late flowing out from the outlet of the bottle, and the flow rate of inhale from nose by the numerical simulation. From the results of evaluating the flow rate from the outlet of the bottle, the influence on the flow rate becomes large with increase of outlet diameter of bottle. On the other hand, it is found that the influence on the flow rate is insensitive with the shape change of the bottle shoulder. Next, the simplified nose part model was created First, the model of the nose and the bottle are separately analyzed. As a result, the nose independent model can inhale without waste, if the diameter of bottle outlet is Φ33 and Φ38. Second, we have analyzed the connected model with the nose and the bottle, too. Then, we could investigate the method of quantitative evaluation of flow rate from the velocity distribution and effect of fragrance from the temperature distribution. However, we were not able to establish the method of quantitative evaluation by the analysis of the connected model, because of the difficulty of clearer distinction between the air in which the fragrance is contained and the air m the room.
