Abstract
Size-exclusion type DNA separation has been achieved by a micro electrophoresis device using micro-fence structures as a separation filter. The devise can provide quick and accurate separation. However, it was reported that the separation performance declined due to the broadened distribution of DNA samples at the entrance to the separation filter. To avoid this problem, we integrated the concentration filter in the device, which makes the DNA distribution narrower in the direction of electrophoresis. In this study, we verified the feasibility of the concentration filter.
