Elastic interaction between vacancies at oxygen sites and external loads in cubic zirconia crystal is analyzed using a point force array model based on the Green function method. The point force array model is proposed as point forces acting on the neighboring atoms of the oxygen vacancy along the displacement direction due to the existence of the vacancy. The Green function for the cubic anisotropic media is numerically calculated. The point force array is calibrated by comparing the displacement field due to the vacancy in the continuum mechanics and the first principle calculation in the least square sense. Anisotropy of the elastic interaction between vacancies and external loads is illustrated graphically and examined.
