The rocket turbopump is the high-rotational speed and high-power turbomachinery that raise the pressure of liquid propellant to higher than the combustion chamber pressure. Various rotor vibration problems had occurred caused by high rotation and had brought about the unplanned reworks in the development phase of the rocket engines. In order to avoid these rework process, we have studied "the design method of morphology" considering rotordynamics in the upstream design phase. This paper presents a selecting method of superior morphology of rocket turbopump in this design method.
