Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop decoding system from the human auditory cortex. Spatial resolution of functional MRI is 3mm voxel that is huge than a nerves. In the previous research, functional MRI was performed to investigate differences of the human auditory cortex. The evidence for reconstructing music from the human auditory cortex using functional MRI is exiguous. First we verify that a significant difference was able to be identified using musical scale for stimulus with functional MRI. Driving sound of used functional MRI is measured. From the result, loudness around 2 KHz was low level. Therefore, C7 (2093.00Hz) and C#7 (2217.46Hz) was used for auditory stimulus. On auditory cortex, the significant difference in the coordinate of 62, -34, 20 (SPM MIN mm) of both subjects was identified. There is some possibility of doing that reconstructing music from the human auditory cortex using functional MRI develop.
