Abstract
With the great east Japan earthquake disaster, the electrical power supply-demand balance became tight in the summer. In this paper, we examined two countermeasures to alleviate severe situation of electricity supply and demand from short-term and long term viewpoints. One is estimation of an output decrement of thermal power generation by ambient air temperature rise in summer. The other is prediction of effects of large scale introduction of renewable energy to an electric power system. As the result, frequency change of the electric power system was calculated and the introductory limit of photovoltaics was predicted.
