J0420401 Study on elastic wave analysis using meshless method

Abstract

The particle method and the meshless method have been studying actively in the field of structure and fluid analysis. On the other hand, researches about the ultrasonic propagation using EMAT or piezoelectric material are less compared to the above mentioned field. It can be expected that the meshless method can decrease the effort of the preprocessing, or arrangement of the nodal distribution can be performed easily. In this paper, a meshless method using Radial Point Interpolation Method (RPIM) is presented, and some demonstrations are presented.
