Abstract
Generally, in order to give a piezoelectric effect to Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF), it is necessary to perform some pretreatments such as the uniaxial stretching, corona-discharge polarization, appropriate heat treatment and so on. However we found that, it has become possible to use piezoelectric properties in PVDF film only by dropping and drying of the PVDF solution (Drop&Dry Fabrication). Using this fabrication method, any shape piezoelectric films can be created by drawing dot points. In this study, we developed Piezoelectric PVDF Printer that can print any shape PVDF films. As a result, it became possible to print a PVDF film corresponding to a bitmap image.
