2-layer laminated sheets of Fluororesin /polydimethylsiloxane (Fluororesin /PDMS), Fluororesin /polyethylene (Fluororesin /PE) and Fluororesin /polyurethane (Fluororesin /PU) were prepared by a double-step adhesion method consisting of applying low dose (≦0.43 MGy) of homogeneous low energy electron beam irradiation (HLEBI) prior to hot-press under 5 MPa and 423 K. Although the weak hot-press adhesion of the Fluororesin /PDMS, Fluororesin /PE and Fluororesin /PU were observed without HLEBI, the double-step adhesion raised the bonding forces as evidenced by the mean adhesive forces of peeling resistance (^0F_p). Based on the 3-parameter Weibull equation, the lowest ^0F_p value at peeling probability (P_p) of zero (F_s) could be estimated. An increasing trend in F_s occurs by the double-step treatment applying HLEBI up to 0.13 MGy (Fluororesin /PDMS, Fluororesin /PE) and 0.43 MGy (Fluororesin /PU) reaching a maximum at 4.85, 0.425 and 0.374 Nm^<-1>, improving the safety level without radiation damage. When HLEBI cuts the chemical bonds and generates dangling bonds with nonbonding electrons in Fluororesin / Another Polymers, the raised adhesion between the laminated sheets can be explained.
