Abstract
In this paper, engineering design education effect for a college student who works in a mini-robot workshop for schoolchildren as an assistant for children is discussed. This workshop is an original approach that the schoolchildren dismantle and analyze a mini-robot, respectively, under helping of college student who made this mini-robot, and new mini-robot is redesigned and rebuilt by the schoolchildren based on analysis result of old mini-robot. In the redesigning work, the assistant college student need realize a completion drawing based on an easy drawing made by schoolchildren, and we think it is effective work for engineering design education of the college student. Thus, verification of effect for engineering design education is performed with considering comprehensively the satisfaction level of college student, the results of a mini-robot contest, and the performance of redesigned mini-robot.
