S2110104 Consideration about management of trade secrets in Japanese company : How to manage confidentiality in company of the field of machine and chemistry

Abstract

Recently, there are a lot of problems about outflow of the technical information among Japanese companies. While the competition between companies become more intense, it is difficult to maintain and reinforcement of the superiority of the business if the company's results of R&D are leaked to the other companies illegally. In Japanese Unfair Competition Prevention Act, trade secrets satisfy 3 requirements as follows: (1)confidentiality, (2)value and (3)non-public nature. So, in this report, I try to consider how to manage confidentiality effectively through 2 cases which are company of the field of machine and chemistry.
