Safety measures are important to promote utilization of hydrogen energy. In this research, it was examined numerically that how outside airflow influences on diffusion and accumulation of leaked hydrogen in a space with small openings. The analysis was carried out by CFD to simulate a series of experiments which were done before. As experimental model, half hallway model was placed in a duct. The experiments were carried out in four different wind speed conditions from 0.1 to 1.0 m/s. It was found by experiments that the higher the wind speed the lower the hydrogen concentration when door vent was faced windward. In contrast, the higher the air speed the higher the concentration when door vent was faced leeward. These trends also could be simulated in CFD.
