The purpose of this study is to suppress the output fluctuation of the wind turbine in the turbulent inflow. The power fluctuation from wind gives the difficulry on the stable control of the power grid. In this research, a feedforward control system of the wind turbine using lidar measurements were developed and tested with a field experimental wind turbine. The field experimental windturbine is an up-wind type horizontal axis wind turbine with the three blades rotor. The diameter of rotor is 10m. The wind speed measurement are performed with a cup anemometer on naccel for the normal feedback control and a LiDAR system for the lidar associated control. The new control system shows the good peromance to reduce the power fluctuation.
