Speed, agility and quickness (‘SAQ’) are the fundamental ability to stabilize, decelerate, accelerate and change direction quickly while maintaining proper posture and moving in the intended direction during games. We newly developed an agility evaluation system during shuttle running that focuses on the decision making, trunk control, decelerate, accelerate and change of direction. The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlative relationship between reactive agility test using agility evaluation system and results of physical test, side step, standing broad jump, 20-meter sprints and endurance running. The research was conducted on a sample of 22 students from basketball teams in elementary schools, all females, aged 10.5±1.2 years. The results showed that the significant relationships were found between reactive agility and all physical tests. These results has shown this method is a valid system for evaluation the ability of reactive agility of athlete.
