Abstract

An air supply nozzle of the Baba ventilation station that does not require a high discharge air velocity and the ventilation force will be installed into the Yokohama ringed north line. However, there is a potential for short-circuiting of air flow between the air supply nozzle and exhaust port because of the insufficient interval of them. And non-uniform flow is easy to occur around the area, because the air supply nozzle is an off-center arrangement in the cross-section of the tunnel. Therefore, we examined the shape optimization of an air supply nozzle by using the CFD analysis for the reduction of such influences in mentioned above.
