In this paper, a study on power quality and economic efficiency of independent microgrid connecting SOFC - TCC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Triple Combined Cycle) and photovoltaic (PV) is reported. In the power quality analysis, the limit introduction capacity of PV capable of maintaining the frequency variation of the micro grid within the allowable range (50 ± 0.3 Hz) was investigated. As a result of power quality analysis analysis, PV can be introduced in the largest amount when 122.0 MW of SOFC-TCC (SOFC is 37.4 MW, Gas turbine is 52.4 MW, Steam turbine is 32.2 MW) and PV is 23.8 MW. In the economic analysis, the sum of the generation costs of SOFC-TCC and PV when operating the proposed microgrid for 20 years so as to satisfy the electricity balance at Kitami City's representative day in the winter, intermediate and summer seasons was calculated. As a result of economic analysis, cost can be minimized when SOFC-TCC is 122.0 MW (SOFC is 37.4 MW, Gas turbine is 52.4 MW, Steam turbine is 32.2 MW) and PV is 23.8 MW.
