Origami Simulation by 3D Truss Model

Abstract

This report deals with a simulation of three dimensional Origami structure which is expected to be applied to industrial field and various fields. Analysis using the finite element method is effective for the structure. In this report, the origami structure is modeled as a three dimensionnal truss structure. As an example of the analysis, the Miura fold is analyzed.
