One of the problems in Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) for hip joint osteoarthritis is a difficulty in placing the femoral head of the implant to the normal position during surgery, since the acetabulum is severely deformed. Therefore, it is necessary to quantify the effect of differences in femoral head position on biomechanical parameters in order to determine the position gap that can be allowed in THA. In this study, we conducted gait analysis using a musculoskeletal modeling simulation software and investigated the effect of femoral head center position on the biomechanical parameters during walking. The femoral head center position was displaced in the medial-lateral direction during the analysis. It was confirmed from the analysis that the femoral head center position may affect the biomechanical parameters of the hip joint during walking.
