Uterus is an organ allowing for embryo to grow inside the mother’s body until giving a birth. In this study, we developed a novel approach of using scaffold-free tissue (SFT) reconstructed by human endometrial stromal cells (hESCs). We utilized the scaffold-free tissue as a place to grow rat embryo onto the scaffold free tissue. After coculturing embryo on the SFT for 24 hours, it exerted the superior environment to allow the embryo development, hatching, and further attachment onto the SFT. In this study, we suggested the novel in vitro application of hESC SFT to facilitate growth of early stage embryo.
