α gels are used in variety industrial fields and exhibit a very complex yield behavior. These colloidal gels exhibit the yield behaviors in the stress ramp test and another yield like behavior is also observed in the high shear regime. They are named the first and second yield points in the order of the appearance in the stress ramp test. The yield behavior's time dependency is investigated by the stress ramp test at the variety stress sweep rate. The first yield stress increases linearly with increasing the stress sweep rate. The second yield stress also shifts to the high stress range with increasing the stress sweep rate increase, but the dependency is strong compared with the first yield stress.
