A method of cutting the glass using laser, which generates almost no defects, was developed and it attracts many researchers recently. However, no one has observed the state of crack propagation of glass using a fiber laser in real time. In this paper, we first observed crack propagation of laser full-cutting of glass in real time and advance the knowledge of crack behavior. We successfully observed interference fringes, which can be transformed to the shape of the crack. We found that the distance from the laser spot to the crack tip varies between 2 and 3 mm. Although the shape of the crack tip slightly changes for each time, the width of the crack linearly changes after the fifth order bright line counting from the crack tip.
