Frameworks for marketing, such as “value chain”, “3C”, “4p”, “AIDMA”, “5F”, “PEST”, “SWOT”, and a tool called positioning map are introduced in a lecture for students of Faculty of Science and Engineering by A4 one-page document. The aim of the document is to utilize the frameworks to determine a design specification. In the determination, a treatment of engineering ethics and management of technology are included. A figure summarizing the relation of “value chain”, “3C”, “4p”, “AIDMA” and “5F” suggest the stake holders. A table summarizing “PEST” and “SWOT” and positioning maps of past, present and futures propose the relation between a technology and society. The document suggested the existence of Marketing to students of Faculty of Science and Engineering during twice of 90-munite lecture. Although it does not help to study a Marketing, it helped treatment of engineering ethics. The answers that students replied against questions suggested that consideration in a planning or a treatment of engineering ethics was difficult.
